Lewis Goddard, ACA
Meet Lewis. Founder of Goddard Accountants.
ACA-qualified Chartered Accountant with 10 years’ experience across practice and industry.
My career began in 2017 in Audit & Accounts in Central London, before moving into industry five years later. I joined a FTSE 100-listed global technology business, initially working in Group Reporting before moving into Project Accounting.
That experience has given me a valuable perspective from both sides of the table — understanding not only how to get the numbers right, but how financial information can help businesses make better decisions. The data should help business owners understand where they are, where they want to go, and what they need to do to get there.
And while accounting is my career, I genuinely enjoy helping people in my working life. Providing a good service and seeing the satisfaction first hand is the most fulfilling part of my role.
Outside of work, I’ve recently become a father for the first time. And when I’m not navigating life with a newborn, you’ll probably find me supporting Manchester United through the highs, the lows and everything in between (mainly the lows for now!).
